We offer friendly, professional service and have been helping people with their hearing needs for well over two decades. We specialize in hearing evaluations and hearing instrument fitting. We provide  follow-up support for a wide range of hearing instrument styles and the latest, most up-to-date technology.

We also offer numerous ancillary products including assistive listening devices (ALDs), which cover a wide range of products. For example, we have tactile (vibrating) watches, TV Ears which allow you to adjust the TV volume and tone for personal listening without disturbing others, and telephones which display a conversation on the telephone's screen so you may follow along as you listen to friends or family.

Our Staff

Steven Strnad - Audioprothologist 

Pat Strnad is an Audiologist and co-owner of Cleartone Hearing Aid Services in Wooster, Ohio and Medina Hearing Aid Services in Medina, Ohio. In her twenty-six years in the hearing healthcare field, she has helped people from Wayne, Holmes, Medina and surrounding counties to maximize their hearing and assisted their families and friends with their communication needs.   Pat earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management at Malone College and her Master of Arts in Audiology at Kent State University. She externed at University Hospital in Cleveland and in an ENT office in Massillon, Ohio. While her practice focuses on the adult population, she also enjoys working with children four years of age and older.   Continuing education in the field of audiology is very important to Pat. She has been recognized by the American Academy of Audiology as a scholar for well exceeding the required continuing education hours. She is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association, Hearing Healthcare Alliance of Ohio, and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She and her husband, Steve, an Audioprosthologist and co-owner of the business, have participated in medical missions. They have established an ongoing hearing clinic in northwestern Honduras which services a large portion of Honduras and Guatemala.

Karen Wilkinson is our Hearing Instrument Specialist serving the greater Medina community. Her interest in the hearing healthcare field began in 1984 when she discovered that helping people improve their ability to communicate with family and friends greatly enhanced their quality of life. She enjoys working with people and offering personalized service to meet their individual listening needs. She performs otoscopy, complete hearing evaluations, hearing instrument dispensing, programming and repair, and ear impressions for a variety of uses. In addition, she is available to counsel family members on how to communicate with those with hearing challenges. Although she practices primarily in our Medina office, on occasion you may see Karen helping out in our Wooster location.
